Welcome to Tressed.
Technically, Don and I don’t consider this the first comic of this project. Strips 1-10 are considered the prologue, where we set the background for the comic, especially since we’re distinguishing it from Sunday at 10. In the prologue, you can meet the new characters and get a feel of what we’re doing with the strip.
For those of you familiar with S@10, Tressed is designed to be one big, long story arc. We did arcs frequently at the other comic, but they had problems. It was a difficult burden on the art schedule to come up with complicated ideas on a M-W-F schedule. (Whenever I had a comic that was too complicated for a short schedule, Don claimed that I mongoosed him, because apparently 40 foot tall cyborg mongeese are difficult to draw on a short deadline. Anyone who has seen my art will know that I’m not terribly detail-oriented when it comes to drawing things. )
So, Tressed is the solution to that. We’re relaxing the production schedule to a weekly basis, so we can maximize both the story and the art for the best experience we can give you.

And now: The News in Brief(s)! As you see, the sexy gorgon is wearing no pants. That’s right, no pants. Film at eleven!
Does anyone even say “film at eleven” anymore? This is the digital age, baby. No need to develop film anymore.
I don’t know who dates himself more, Ralfie for making the comment or me giving him crap for it.
